Privacy
Short version: your email address is used to send you the newsletter, and nothing is collected beyond what it takes to make drop links work, plus any feedback you choose to send from inside a mod.
What's collected
Your email address, plus the basic open and click stats that the email service records. This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics or ad trackers.
Who holds it
Your email is stored by Kit (kit.com), the service that sends Mod Drop. It never touches this website's servers, and it is never sold or shared.
Drop links
Each download link is tied to your subscription so it can expire after 72 hours and so shared links can be switched off. When a link is used, its download count is recorded, along with the time and a coarse network check for abuse.
In-game feedback
Packs from Mod Drop include a feedback form (F8 in game). Sending feedback is up to you, and it's anonymous: it carries the mod and Minecraft version, the category you pick and what you type, and your game log only if you tick the box. Your Minecraft name, account ID and IP address are never sent or stored, and names, home-folder paths and server addresses are removed from logs before they're saved. Feedback is processed by a third party to sort it, after those details are removed. Logs are deleted after 30 days.
Leaving
Every email has an unsubscribe link. Use it and you're removed straight away. To have your data deleted completely, reply to any issue and ask.
